We recommend that you check your air filter every 30 days. If you use poly filters it is okay to let them go unchanged. However, they can cause your coil to get extremely dirty over a long period of time. If you decide to buy our pleated filters it is highly suggested that you change them after 30-90 days. These filters cause a restriction at the coil, which will be energy efficient when clean. When they get dirty they can cause a higher restriction at the coil and potentially damage your HVAC system. We recommend that you sign up for a reoccurring order because of how easily it is to forget to change them. We recommend that you check your manufacturer’s specifications on the perfect air filter for your system!
